Company History

Oriental Pension Consultants was incorporated in 1982 as a small family run retirement services firm. OPC started with insurance funding in retirement plans and soon expanded to providing TPA services. As OPC grew, our services expanded and we started providing document and daily record keeping services for employers in Florida and Puerto Rico. Today we work with a wide variety of plans primarily located in Florida and Puerto Rico.

We have grown to represent over 350 plans and provide record keeping services to over 40,000 participants. We are now a wholly owned subsidiary of Oriental Bank, one of the largest banks in Puerto Rico. We have a strong U.S. and international presence, and are familiar with regulations and documentation requirements in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Our business philosophy is simple; develop long term relationships by providing high quality, professional, personalized services. Our commitment is to provide substantial technical guidance and support to ease the burden on your Human Resources Department.
